Favourite touch-up powders

Hey beautiful!

It’s been awhile since my last beauty related post. Over the weekend I was out and noticed that some girls haven’t been powdering their face throughout the day. Although a nice dewy finish is lovely, it’s important for everyone to know the difference between a dewy and oily finish so, it’s essential for everyone to touch up their face because an oily face is just not cute, at all.

So I want to share with you guys personally, my favourite powders to touch-up during the day.

The first one is MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in the shade C2. I love to use this when I have a strong highlight underneath my eyes. People either love or hate this powder, but I love it. I know I can constantly rely on keeping me matte, it will add a bit more coverage, but honestly it’s fine because it doesn’t look cakey and creased. Another plus about this is that it has a separate section for the sponge applicator which works great if you don’t have a brush.

Next one is L’Oreal True Match Powder in the N4 Beige. This is on the pricier side of the drug store, but you can still get your money’s worth. The same with the MAC powder, people either love or hate this powder and for me, I love. It’s great throughout the day, the only bad thing I would have to say is that it’s not as long wearing as the MAC powder, but still great coming for the drugstore. Another thing I love about this powder, just like the MAC it has another compact section that you lift up that has the mirror and sponge applicator.

Another powder from the drugstore is the Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder in the shade 050 Deep Fonce. The consistency of this powder is very smooth and feels like silk which makes the application so smooth. This one I would say is better than the L’Oreal powder, it lasts longer and doesn’t look cakey at all and adds minimal coverage. The only thing I don’t like about this is the packaging, it’s quite big and the mirror isn’t big enough.

Last one, my most holiest grail of all powders is the Clinique Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder in the shade 04 Stay Honey (which I believe is not available anymore). I’ve been using this for years, even before I got into makeup I used to use this all the time when I was younger. It definitely keeps me shine free. It adds a sheer to light coverage which is perfecttttt! I barely have to constantly touch-up during the day because it controls the oil that builds up throughout the day.

That’s all for todays post. Until next time!
