It’s Grace here and today I’m going to be sharing with you my top 5 favourite cheap lip products from the pharmacy and drugstore. It’s always convenient to find cheaper alternatives regardless of whatever budget you have and I’ve gone through my draw and found 5 of my most used and favourite lip products that are affordable without being bad quality.
I’ll start off with the lip liners.
My first favourite is the Rimmel Exaggerate Automatic Lip Liner in the shade Eastend Snob. This product is talked about by many, and if you watch Amelia Liana’s channel you already know she is in love with this lip liner. The reason why I love this product and think it’s worth your valuable pennies is because of the ease you are able to apply it with. It simply glides on your lips and I feel this is because it is not in a pencil form, but in a creamy stick. You simply roll it up and it effortlessly blends in. I also really love the texture of this product and its wear-ability as it lasts for a long time.
My second favourite cheap lip liner is E.L.F Lip Definer and Shaper. This product is really affordable as it double ended and therefore is basically two lip liners for the price of one. It has a shaping side, which is a very pinky brown nude to shape your lips into your desired look, and the other defining side is a pink and champagne highlight shade for the inner corners and wherever else you want to define. This is a really inovative combo as usually if you want to use a highlighter on the inner corner you’d have to individually purchase a product like that. I also love how creamy and pigmented both sides are.
The next product I’ll be talking about is a lip butter. The Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in the shade Peach #025 is an oldie but a goodie for me. I prefer a very light lip most of the time, and prefer to use butters, balms and liners instead of lipsticks, so this is perfect for me. This product is creamy, buttery (obviously) and has just the right amount of pigmentation. It swatches really lovely as you’ll be able to see and is perfect for a quick on the go look.
The next products I’ll be discussing are lipsticks, and I have two to discuss. The first is the Covergirl Colorlicious Lipstick in the shade Honeyed Bloom #345. These lipsticks are a more newer release but already have alot of hype surrounding them. They are like the title says, very colourful and very pigmented, and I find very creamy and wearable. These apply very easily and even have a lovely scent (which is unusual because if you’ve ever smelt a lipstick you’d agree with me that most smell horrible). Big thumbs up.
The last but not least product I’ll be discussing is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks in the shade Asia. This shade I really love for me because it’s a “your lips but better” shade with a more brown tint. I really love the ways these lipsticks apply and feel on the lips considering the prices. There’s a good variety of shades and the lipsticks are just pigmented enough for a beautiful effect.
