What’s in my Z-Palette?

Hey there!

This is Grace here, and a few weeks ago I watched LustreLux’s Z-Palette video and was inspired to write this post on what I keep in my Z-Palette and basically what I use every single time I do my makeup (casual to glam). These are mostly just depotted stuff and I have some stuff for all budgets and brands (Makeup Geek, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and etc). I basically keep cream and powder contour and highlight shades, illuminating or highlighters and my staple eye colours. I hope you guys enjoy.

My most reached for and most used shades are probably the four Anastasia cream contour ones in the top left row. I find cream contouring can be easier when you want a more natural look or maybe aren’t that good at blending powders. I use the shade “Fawn” the most and then either one of the highlighting shades on my face, then I’ll use the illuminating shade “Lustre” on anywhere I want a little glow.

Afterwards I’ll usually go in and use the powder shade “Sombre” on the top right from Kat Von D’s Shade + Light palette to set my contour. This is also one of my most used shades. It’s honestly one of the most perfect contour shades on the market.

Underneath I have some of my favourite eye shadow colours to work with. I really love working with browns and mauves, and I have a few extras to glam up my look. I have a David Jones Beauty eye shadow in “Snow”, some Dior shadows I found in a palette, and some Makeup Geek shadows in Barcelona BeachTwilight, Prom Night and Sensuous.

On the last row I have a highlighter in the shade “Lucid” from Kat Von D’s palette, two darker and more brown undertoned cream contour shades in “Shadow” and “Mink”, and finally, the darkest powder contour shade from Kat Von D’s Shade + Light palette in “Subconscious” which I mainly use while doing my eyeshadow. I love dark brown crease shades.

There you have it guys, I hope you’ve enjoyed this glimpse into my z-palette.

Thanks so much for reading and have an amazing day.

Lots of love, Grace xx
