My 5 Makeup Routine Must Have’s:

Hello lovely x

It’s Grace here, and I’m in a bit of a makeup rut right now. I’m looking to change and get rid of any products I don’t use anymore and while doing this, I went through and found some of the must have products I use currently and ones I can’t live without.

1. Mac Fix Plus

This first product is a pricy one, and one that I really didn’t think I needed until I bought it. It’s basically a makeup spray used to prime the skin, amplify pigments or eyeshadows and set the face. I use it mainly to set my face and it gives me the most dewy, healthy glow to my skin. After baking and using powder, it’s my favourite thing to use to bring my skin back to life. It gives me an indescribable glow to my skin and I can even notice in photos! I also will use it to make my eyeshadows and highlighters extra pigmented and it does work for this. I highly recommend putting some money aside for this product if you have more normal to dry skin and are looking for an extra dewy glow to your skin.

2. No Brand Stippling Blending Brush (Specular)

One of my favourite brushes of the moment is one I bought from eBay. Whenever I would blend out my under eye I would use a beauty blender and although I still find this effective, I would notice alot of my concealer would get soaked up with the brush. I love using this mini stippling brush to blend out my concealer and highlight, along with any creases I may have. I find this to be the perfect kind of tool to use with my concealer and would highly recommend you guys buy one. They are so cheap and work as good as some of my brand name brushes.

3. Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in “Stole the Show”

Finally I managed to get my hands on this highlighter from Colourpop and boy, is it worth the wait. I use this highlighter practically everyday and am never disappointed. It’s a cream to powder formula, so the only fault I would say is how you can’t apply this product over powder as it will cake up. These highlighters are super pigmented and last the whole day — and the best part is they are so affordable. A need for everyone who loves highlighters.

4. Innoxa Brow Enhancer in “Ash Blonde”

This is a new product I’ve found which I love using on days I don’t want to fill in my brows and also for those days when I need to make sure my brows stay on all day. Similar to a brow gel, this is a brow product with fibres which gives the perfect amount of colour. It’s also great for setting brows into place and I can say that even if you sweat all day long and rub away accidently, your brows won’t move out of place. The only fault I would say is considering its sold at pharmacies (or what you Americans would consider a drugstore) its quite expensive.

5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Highlighter in “Soft Light”

My last favourite is a shade from my Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour kit and its a highlighting shade. I really love this product because its so creamy and is the perfect shade for my skin tone. It has both yellow and pink undertones and still manages to be lighter than my foundation shade. The product itself is so easy to blend but I would say, I hope they sell these individually so if any of you wanted to get one of the shades you could without paying for the whole kit. I personally feel contour kits are a waste of money unless you are a makeup artist but alas, to get the perfect shade it is a struggle.

That’s it from me and I hope you guys are having a lovely week.

Lots of love, Grace xxoo
