What I Slather My Body With … Body Care Faves

Hey beautiful! Christy here,

As you tell by the title of this post, today I’ll be sharing what I use on my body on a regular basis. Obviously, these products change throughout the year but for now, this is what “I can’t live without” in regards to body care products. When it comes to body products I don’t find it to be necessary to use expensive products because I don’t have any particular skin issues which need to be treated, so I tend to lean towards drug store priced products. As always, the products which will be discussed aren’t in any particular order.

Soap & Glory Glow Lotion – $15-20 AUD

This lotion is perfect for literally slathering all over your body. Whenever I’m about to leave but I look at my legs or arms and notice that they look a bit dull and dry, I pump this in my hands and rub it all over. It looks so amazing when you’re in the sun and the light reflects off your body.

The Body Shop Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil in Honey Kissed – $32.95 AUD

This dry oil is perfect for those summer days when your legs are on full display but you feel like a bit of a pale ghost (which happens to me quite often). I love this because it is streak free and gives a beautiful sheen to the skin when in the sun. I really do love my shimmer.

The Body Shop Candy Apple Body Butter – $24.95 AUD

The Body Shop Body Butters are really a cult favourite to everyone on Earth. Their scent range is amazing, my favourite is the Candy Apple scent but unfortunately it is part of their limited edition holiday range which comes out once a year. It seriously is such an amazing scent though and I recommend you all check it out when it comes back in stock. My second favourite scent is definitely the coconut.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius – $11 AUD

If any of you suffer from dry feet, which I do from time to time, I highly suggest that you check out the Heel Genius from Soap & Glory. It is such a low price of $11 and it is quite a large bottle especially considering the small size of your feet you will take a while to get through it. You’re meant to apply it and wear socks on top to bed but I know that’s not ideal for some people. It does still work without the socks but it is a bit less effective that way.

Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub – $18 AUD

This was actually one of the first body scrubs I had ever tried and it has remained a favourite of mine. Soap & Glory does have many different scents of their body scrubs but I love this one the most. It is a very sweet, maple scent so if you’re not into those sickly sweet scents, STAY AWAY! But this scrub really does get the job done, I feel like a shiny new me as soon as I get out of the shower.

As you can tell, I am a major fan of Soap & Glory body care. Their packaging is absolutely adorable, they have amazing scents, and the price? Unbeatable. And of course The Body Shop is also one of my favourite stores for all things body and skincare, hello? Body is in the name!

Let me know what your must have body care item is and I’ll check it out!

Christy xoxo
